RobS
I am looking to see how to manipulate my text other than text on path. Am I able to skew text? I want all of the letters to stand up straight but the baseline to curve or to go at a diagonal. I'm not seeing a distort or handles that would do what I am looking for. RobS
I'm looking for something like the mesh warp tool in AP. I can throw it over there and do what I need but it rasterizes the layer.
Staff MEB Posted February 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 9, 2016 Hi RobS, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The Perspective and Mesh Warp Tool are both on Designer's roadmap. You can skew the text placing your cursor near the middle handle coming from outside. It should change to two arrows, then just drag. crabtrem
If you wish simple manipulation, skew, rotate, move, resize, those are all available right on the bounding box of the your text. I didn't skew the text in my short example, but you get the idea. Just hover your text over the bounding box, and controls, the cursor will change and you can do simple changes and manipulations such as skew. If I understood what you meant, hopefully this might help. If I misunderstood your questions, I apologize in advance.
