AffDes v2.0.3 (Mac): Rotation angle not shown in Xform panel when using node tool

Recommended Posts

The rotation angle is not shown in the Xform panel when object is selected using the Node Tool.
This is rather inconvenient because it means having to go back to the Move tool in order to precisely adjust the AofR
and then having to go back to the node tool again.

Could this be rectified , please ?

More a feature request than a bug report.

otherwise, i support this as feature request

Hi @catlover,

Apologies for the delay here - I can confirm that when using the Node Tool with a Curve layer selected directly, the Transform Studio does not display information, as the information in the Transform Studio is representative of the 'bounding box' shown for your active selection, and a bounding box is not displayed when selecting a Curve directly with the node tool.

As mentioned above, with Transform Mode enabled and more than 1 node selected, a bounding box will now show and therefore this information is reflected in the Transform Studio.

I will however move this thread to the Feedback section of the forums for our devs to see and consider changing the Node Tools behaviour in the future, such that this information is shown in the Transform Studio.

I hope this helps!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
