No_Name Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 I recently started using the v2 of Affinity Designer and I encountered a problem while saving multiple images in one file. I have a document with multiple images (png / jpg) in it. After reopening the affinity designer document some images have been replaced by others. For example, I don't have Image 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc. anymore but Image 1, 2, 1, 1, 5, 6, 2, 1, 9, etc. (The names are still correct but the image files have been replaced). For now I could not figure out why some images have been replaced and others don't, neither why they where replaced by this or that image. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or I missed something, but I would be very thankfull for an answer. Quote
Pšenda Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Couldn't it be related to this? Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 16, 2023 Staff Posted January 16, 2023 @No_Name Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums Can you confirm if your images were likely added to your document using copy and paste? and Are they the same dimensions as each other? If so, then I think Pšenda is correct as to the problem and I would suggest you keep using 2.0.0 for those documents until 2.0.4 is released. No_Name Posted January 16, 2023 Author Posted January 16, 2023 Yes, this looks like a similar case of my problem. Thank you for the indication @Pšenda. So it is a well known issue and the team is working on it. Good to know! Pšenda 1 Quote

Thanks for the welcome @Patrick Connor Yes, the images have been added per copy and paste. I cannot confirm that the images had the same sizes (because I already deleted the file and did the work another way) but it could totaly be that way. Patrick Connor 1 Quote
Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 27, 2023 Staff Posted January 27, 2023 Sorry that you have experienced this problem with the 2.0.3 release of the Affinity Suite. We have now released 2.0.4 on all platforms, and using that build this problem no longer occurs. Unfortunately if 2.0.3 was used to SAVE your file, those replaced images will need the original images be reinserted/pasted into your files, sorry.
