PDF Export damage

Hey,

unfortunately, Affinity Publisher is very buggy. Very sad about it. I started my first Project in that tool in the hope i don't need InDesign anymore, but Publisher is not very stable and have a lot of small and big bugs.

Here is one big problem. If i try to export the Book (contains 160 pages) than all the texts are broken. But i can't figure out why. It's a text where i used a Mask to integrate it to the picture. First, i just kept the font like it is with the mask. But in the PDF it was broken. Then i converted the font in to curves. But still the same. The main problem is that if i do multiple exports, the problem is always on a different page. So it seems like a rendering problem and not a specif problem with the curves or font.

This is very anoying and with this behavior i cant use publish for any kind of work.

Here is a picture of the problem. And also, even the font is a curve. I get these tiny fragments which should not be visible.

There are many things you can do that will cause rasterization, including various layer effects. Can you share a sample .afpub document that exhibits this problem, so we can help determine if that's what happened?

Hallo Kalle Karl!
