Dandandan
Used to be that if I cropped a photo to a proportion that left clear (checkerboard) space visible, that space saved as white when it was exported. Now it saves as black, which I don't want. A setting has been changed, it seems, and I don't know where to look for it. Can somebody help me, please? You may have changed the background colour in the advanced options.
Dandandan
Thanks for the reply! I'm exporting it as a jpeg. I took a look at the preferences and didn't see what looked like the appropriate setting. Is this option there?

Dandandan
That did it, Michail! That checkbox for my version is marked "Matte" which I was unfamiliar with. Danke schön Michail
