Affinity Photo 2 crashed when using feather selection slider.

Recommended Posts

I have found a few times now when selecting the Feather Selection option (within the selections button on the top toolbar) that if i drag the pixel amount slider too far, then try to lower it, that the whole app will suddenly crash. In the most recent instance, perhaps because I’d only begun roughly two minutes prior, I essentially lost all my progress as none of it saved.

Hi DarkScythe13, The negative slider causing crash has been investigated by developers. I believe they are close to releasing a 2.04 update to fix a number of major bugs. This should be included. Watch out for updates coming.🙂

The issue "Blur Live filters: setting Radius to negative values crashes app" (REF: AFP-5770) has now been fixed by the developers.
This fix is included in build 2.1.0.1706 (or later) which is already available as a customer beta and will be included in the next release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.

If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
