Z S Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Hi Guys, I hope you are doing well! I have a question, can anyone help me with how I can recreate this acid wash effect please? Can this be made or do you have to download templates and then edit the colour yourself? Where can these templates be found if so? I am at beginner level so apologies if my terminology isn't great. Thank you, Zac Quote
John Rostron Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Hello @Z S and welcome to the forums. It would help if you could post a before and after image for us to see the effect you are after. Z S Posted January 13, 2023 Author Posted January 13, 2023 Hi John, I don’t have a before image I’m afraid, It’s just that mate. I’m after that effect, just wondered if there’s any templates out there where I could just change the colour. Thanks Zac Quote

Photos of an "acid wash effect" can look quite different, depending on the light, the affected material, the type of acid, the reaction time … so what exactly does your picture show and what makes you calling it "acid wash effect"? In what specific image details do you recognize what you want to achieve? (e.g. colour (green?) | folded structure | grainy texture | blurry edges | … ?) If it's the grain check out the Noise filter options (e.g. Perlin). Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
