Swatches on FX panel pickup are shown as pure RGB instead of CMYK

Recommended Posts

This is an v1 old error that has reborn in the v2.

CMYK colors on the FX panel are show as pure RGB. So picking a color is more hard as you can't see the real hue.

A little disappointed that this error has returned. It was solved on v1. And it reappears often, as versions are released.

This is probably still the same old bug that I've reported years ago, albeit in another context:

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

The issue "Swatches on FX menu displayed as an RGB preview when document is set to CMYK" (REF: AFB-7219) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1769".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
