notanothername Posted January 12, 2023 Share Posted January 12, 2023 I have intersection selection activated, but this causes drag selection to 'intersect' shapes with no fill. For example, I do not want to select the outside shape (no fill) when I am dragging to select the inside shape (or more typically, a group of shapes). Staff Lee D Posted January 16, 2023 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2023 If you have Select object when intersects with selection marquee enabled within the apps Preferences. Turning it off should allow you to select just the objects/group within the other without the larger shape unless the drag marquee is big enough for all.
