Unexpected margin when placing .afdesign objects in Publisher

 I am making a product catalog in Publisher using product labels made in Designer. When I place the images, I am getting a white margin on the left and top sides of the .afdesign doc that is cropping the content. No idea why, or how to adjust to show the entire artboard.

Unless I’m mistaken, I think this may be a known problem with bleed on artboards.

If you search the forms for artboard bleed you will find lots of people with similar problems and some ‘workarounds’.

Serif are aware of the problem but they do not give us timescales for fixes.

Workaround from jaycanuck74 was to place a .pdf with his desired bleeds. I tried with a .eps file and this worked for me.
