Publisher V2 not responding after going away and Macbook going to sleep

Twice, I've been working on a new (all created from V2) document, saved it but left my Macbook on while going off to do other things. On my return I get the coloured Spinning Wheel and have to perform a Force Quit.

Any advice?

Hi Jani and welcome to the forum. I've experienced this issue sporadically in v1 and v2. After being burned a few times I started closing Affinity before closing my MacBook to avoid more issues. I recommend this to you.

Occasionally I'll forget but I've been lucky and had the issue only once since v2 launched. But that's probably only because I'm good at closing my documents first.
