Constant crashing when opening Resource Manager to manage linked files

Designer 2 crashes when trying to open Resource Manager. The crash occurs when opening the file and using the pop up to get to the resource manager or when navigating to the RM via "Window"

Not every file that I work on crashes the programme, however it happens on a reasonable number of files to make it difficult to actually do my work.

Hi Jon, I've just uploaded the crash report to the dropbox link.

I'm not sure what you mean by "linked resourced from iCloud" but if you mean are the resources in the file on a cloud drive then yes.

I keep the files on the companies Google drive (source and crashing file). I have it set up so I can access the files offline (so that the files are synced on my hard drive).

I apply this system to all the files that I'm using including the Designer files that will allow me to access the Resource Manager and the files that crash when I use Resource Manager.

That was what I meant yes, it seems similar to the report (and the crash report seems the same).

If it's possible for you to also upload the file to that dropbox link I can get it added to the report

Hi

 I've uploaded the file to the Dropbox link.

Publisher V2 crashed every time I open a fil.

I can made a new document, and save it, but when I tried to open it again, Publisher V2 crash.

I also have another problem.

bought V2 in December 2022, but in my account is this: You currently have no Affinity V2 licences!

@alhagrafisk The crash report and file seem to be the same as the above issue, so should be covered by any potential fix.

This sounds like a different issue however, do you have a crash report from this recipe? Is the new document blank that you create? Can you confirm what OS you are doing this on?

The issue "Specific file crashes when entering resource manager" (REF: AFB-7120) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1728".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
