Helmar Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 Attache pics say it all. Something is wrong here. I cannot get the footnote to be placed at the bottom if I have a pinned object on the page that has a wrap-around text setting. n Quote

MikeTO Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Hi, I can't duplicate this problem. Could you share a screenshot of the footnote settings? Helmar Posted January 11, 2023 Author Posted January 11, 2023 Hi Mike, pardon my ignorance, but where do I find the footnote settings? Cheers, Helmar Quote

Cheers, Helmar I should have written footnote attributes. Just a screenshot of the Notes panel with everything expanded out like this. MikeTO Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Okay that didn't help me figure it out as I hoped. But I do think it's the Note Position field that is causing the problem. Let's say I start a document and insert some notes with "Custom" selected and with Note Position set to "Below Text". Then I decide I'd rather use "Below Column". So I choose that for my next one but realize it didn't update my other ones so I change "Document Wide" to "Custom". This action does not convert all the existing notes to be Below Column. I suspect that the note on this page is set to "Below Text". Click in that footnote and see what Note Position is set to. If it's wrong, just change it and check your others. If it is set to Below Column then there's something odd going on and we'll likely need to see a sample document. You could probably just provide a single page for testing. Old Bruce Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Try Bottom of Frame instead of Bottom of Column. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
