Hello everyone,
I would like all my footnotes to have

note.png.22d8025a1055e92caee88ae96eae9f3a.png

  • a positioning with
  1. a minimum gap before of 7 pt
  2. a minimum advance of 7 pt
  • a thin line with on the first note and the rest of the note
  1. stroke style color from the same colour copied from the document palette
  2. stroke style width thin
  3. 0" left indentation
  4. 4.75" width
  5. vertical offset of 7 pt

How do you go about making a single adjustment once and for all that is valid for all the notes in a document?
Thank you for your explanations.

Mais je vous le demande, peut-on imaginer une police sans sérifs ?

It should have been understood that one should position oneself before the first local footnote. Thanks @MikeTO.

I think this is a very sticky panel - it defaults to document wide but if you change it to custom or change any other setting then it stays there until you change it back, even if that's weeks or months later.

We agree. However, I wanted to draw attention to the fact that if you have started by creating custom notes, then you should be aware that you have to position yourself before the first custom note in order for the All Document button to display the setting options.

Don't forget that you can "Update Document Settings from Selected Footnotes" and then "Revert Selected/All Footnotes to Document Settings". These commands in the Notes panel's menu will let you get all of your footnotes in sync.

Cheers
