AD v 2.0.3, macOS 12.6.1

1. Create a document with multiple artboards.

2. On each artboard, place the same multipage PDF, embedded. passthrough mode. Page 1 of the PDF is displayed on each artboard.

3. On each artboard, select the embedded PDF, use the Artboard option in the context toolbar to display a different page of the PDF on each artboard.

4. Save. Close the document. Reopen the document. All instances of the PDF are back to displaying page 1.

Not something I can currently reproduce in Designer 2.0.3, the only difference is the version of macOS as I'm running 13.1. I'll continue to do some testing on an older version of macOS if I can find one.

Thanks @Lee D and @lacerto for your attention to this issue. With some additional experiments, I think I have discovered exactly how to trigger the bug. After the initial Place..., if you get the PDF to the other artboards by copying it, rather than placing it again, the copied PDFs are unable to retain the page displayed. Here's a screen recording showing the first method, followed by the second.

I think @lacerto you were copying as well in your example.

So, a reasonable workaround is available. But would be great to resolve the issue triggered by copying.

Thanks again,

Mike
