Nigelum Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I am currently using "Affinity Designer 2" for desktop on a MacBook Air M1 and I was wondering why the 3D effect radius is limited to 1024 pixels? On my iPad Pro version, I can go much higher to make an ellipse look like a sphere, but not on desktop. Am I missing something? Quote
v_kyr Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 In ADe 1 the radius is there (for 3D FX) also limited to max 1024 px. - Initially via the slidder settings it shows a max of 100px, which can be overwritten in the textfield till 1024px, every value beyond that (aka > 1024) will be auto reset back to a max of 1024 there too. Nigelum Posted January 7, 2023 Author Posted January 7, 2023 I discovered a workaround (if you want to call it that). If you have Affinity Designer (1 or 2) on an iPad, you can save the project file to your Desktop in iCould, open it in your Mac and the option of upping the pixel radius past the 1024px is there. I will say that the effect looks "different" that the same effect created on the Mac version. Quote
Dan C Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Hi @Nigelum, Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here. I can confirm I have been able to replicate this behavior here and I have logged this with our development team for further investigation. I hope this helps Quote
