ksk Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 When selecting a polygon with a stroke and fill, and then clicking on the sychronise defaults function , then creating a new polygon, the new polygon only includes the stroke but not the fill. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 That works for me, @ksk. On the other hand, it works even without the Synchronize Defaults from Selection, if I simply make multiple polygons. So perhaps you're doing something you haven't described to us? Can you provide a screen recording, or some more details of exactly what you've done? ksk Posted January 6, 2023 Author Posted January 6, 2023 @walt.farrell Many thanks for the quick reply. The synchronise works for both stroke and fill with the Rectangle and Ellipse tools but not with the Pen tool. As you say, making multiple polygons works the same as using the Synchronise Defaults from Selection icon. Either way, using the Pen tool, there is no fill. I don't have screen recording at the moment. Thanks Karl Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Thanks for the clarification. You didn't mention Pen Tool before. Are you sure you have enabled 'Use Fill' at the right hand end of the context toolbar of Pen Tool? (If there is a double-chevron button at end of context toolbar, click it to reveal controls which aren't fitting in the width of the app window.) Edited May 13, 2023 by lepr added info Quote
