Variables in field input

Recommended Posts

This is very useful: https://affinity.help/photo/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Workspace/expressions.html?title=Expressions for field input

I have suggestion to extend this.

Example. I create document 500 x 500 px. Now I put rectangle to my document. I want to set this rectangle width to 100% od my document. Now I write in width input 'spreadwidth', and rectangle sets width to 500px. Now i resie my canvas to 600px width. But rectangle has 500px. Now I neet to write again 'spreadwidth' into width input.

I want sometink like that use in my macros. Regardless of document size I want to run macro and put rectangle with 100% of document width.

I thint about writing wariables into inputs with brackets:

(spreadwidth)
{spreadwidth}
[spreadwidth]

I think, this would be very practical.

Rather than an addition for Fields Input, this looks to me like a requirement to automatically/dynamically adapt objects as parent objects change.
The Constraints panel is used for this in ADesigner.
