Paul Chiswick
I want to have additional blank templates available (e.g. trifolds). Can I import them, if they are not in .aftemplate format? Do I have to create each one from scratch by creating a new category and subcategories?
walt.farrell
I'm not sure what you mean about creating new categories and sub categorized. On iPad, Templates don't seem to have the same organization as on the desktop; they just seem to be files in whatever directory you want to look in. And from my experience they can be .afpub, .afdesign, .afphoto, or .aftemplate files. Paul Chiswick
Hi Walt, I have many blank .afpub templates on iCloud. I can open one in APub v2 on iPAD, work on it and save as a working doc. What I was hoping to do, was to be able to open these as a choice from the New Document dialogue. I could create new templates there in a new category working from scratch.. But I can't see how the blanks I have can be listed there for selection. walt.farrell
I'm probably confused, but why not just put them in a folder and then tap Templates and select them from there? You can even make that folder a Favorite, so you're only 1 more tap away from getting to it in the Files dialog that opens. walt.farrell
That is odd. First, what release are you running? You can see that on the Account dialog, I think. And what kind of iPad do you have, eh what iPadOS release? Next, perhaps try a Reset of the app. Fully close it, then do a 1-finger double-tap on the Splash Screen when you restart it. I think you can just leave the default options selected in the reset dialog. Try rotating to portrait mode in case that makes a difference.
