stetra Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Hi all, I have a question and I didn't find it in the help: I place an pixel image in a vector object in Designer. When I resize the vector object, the pixel image inside is also modified. Is it possible to disable this? The vector object is used as a frame for the pixel image. Thanks for your help! Quote

With the Vector object selected try activating the Lock Children checkbox on the Context Toolbar If that does not work we may need a full-size screenshot showing the layers panel Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. The vector object is used as a frame for the pixel image. With the parent (vector) layer selected activate the option "Lock Children" (may be hidden at the far right edge of the Context Toolbar). stetra Posted January 5, 2023 Author Posted January 5, 2023 Oh, that's a fast response. Didn't see this option, thank you very much! Quote

But note, this is a permanent setting and independent of a current selection. So, if you select more than one layer (only 1 needs to have a child) this option moves in the context toolbar to the centre … and is a lot easier to achieve.
