Simon Hiscocks Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Hi New Affinity 2 user here. I've just watched a YouTube video where the presenter exported a file from Affinity (on a Mac) and when he went to File/Export, the export dialogue came up with small icons for all possible filetypes to export. On my Mac system running Affinity 2 v2.0.3 there are no filetype icons, only a drop down in which JPEG is the default. I now it's only a minor thing, but how can I customise this to show the filetype icons as in the video (see screenshot)? I'd have through this might be in Preferences, but I can't find any option for this anywhere. Thanks Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. You watched a tutorial for an Affinity V1 application. The V2 applications have significant differences in the user interface, and that's one of them. Old Bruce Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 That video is from version one. The new version two application doesn't have that dialog anymore. There is no "customization" of the dialogs. Simon Hiscocks Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 Ah, fair enough. Shame I liked that. Thanks also for such a swift response! walt.farrell 1 Quote
