Intuos5
I would like to see a rectangular gradient fill being added so I can create gradients on rectangles that work from both horizontal and vertical directions. Designer crashed when zooming out after having created the mock-up, so will have to do with this large image 😅.
GarryP
You can do this with an Outline Layer Effect, see attached image. Unfortunately the gradient ‘mid-points’ don’t have much effect, but I don’t know if that’s by design or not.
Intuos5
It would be nice to have as a gradient in and of its own though, that way you won't have to check the effects for something as trivial as a gradient fill. The effects also visually clutter the layer studio. Thanks for showing the workaround though! Â E: Also, your gradient has sharp corner edges, ideally, these wouldn't be present in the gradient I would like to see added.

Intuos5
For now the outline effect suffices as I only need to cover up stuff white on white, so it's not really showing the sharp edge.
