JMichael
Sorry but I can't find a proper descriptor for this niggling issue. In AP V1. a line of guidance information about any tool currently in use is displayed across the very bottom of the screen (see screenshot below for the brush tool). However this information line is absent in my V2 setup despite appearing in Serif's V2 videos. I've tried numerous 'views' etc to display that line but all to no avail. I'd be very grateful for information on how to display the line in Photo V2. I'm using Windows 10 by the way.
walt.farrell
It is likely that at some point you pressed Tab (or used View > Toggle User Interface) and then individually restored parts of the interface by using the View menu to recover them rather than just pressing Tab again. That is the only way to Hide the Status Bar (without, on Windows, editing the Registry) and is also the only way to restore it again. So, just press Tab. JMichael
Wow Walt, that was super fast. And you are correct, just tabbing has restored that line. Wonderful. I'm most grateful. Michael walt.farrell
h_d
It must be a Windows/Mac thing but on macOS, if I press Tab to toggle the UI then the only thing that does remain visible is the line at the bottom described by @JMichael in their original post 🤪 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.3, Affinity Designer 2.5.3, Affinity Publisher 2.5.3, Mac OSX 14.5, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
