Question--I'm creating a printed book (Mac desktop), and I have a Master Page set with page numbers, etc. on it for the main content.  Now, I'm going to create the front matter for the book, and I don't want any page numbering.  So, I create a Master B set, but when I insert Master B, Master A suddenly has the page numbers removed (and they disappear from my book completely).  If I duplicate Master A to make a Master B, it makes it so both have the page numbers, but if I remove the page numbers from Master B, they disappear on Master A as well (which is not what I want).

Shouldn't different Master pages be able to be different?  I looked through the instructions on Master pages, but it was no help with regard to this weird link between master pages.  Many thanks!

Thanks so much for the detailed example!  I actually went in today after closing out the application, tried the exact same thing I was doing yesterday, and it worked just fine.  Not sure why the discrepancy, but all is good now.  Thanks again!
