Hi all,

So I create my document/design in CMYK color format. The end result will be in JPEG for printing. However, it turns out I will need to export the JPEG as a RBG color format. I know you can convert the document from CMYK to RBG, but can I just export it directly as RBG instead? (and vice versa).

I looked at the setting and I don't completely understand it all (still new to this), I use the Export Persona,

My Document Setup:

Export Setting: so do I just choose RGB under the Pixel Format? I'm actually not sure what "pixel format" means and couldn't find any info, but it's drop-down has 3 options; RGB 8-bit, Grayscale 8-bit, and CMYK 8-bit.

Also what is "(embed) ICC profile"? Is it the current color profile I have set on my document as shown on above image? I did some export tests using the RBG under Pixel format and it seems correct, but I'd like confirmation how I'm doing it is correct or not...

Thank you.

Yes, just choose RGB 8-bit; it is one of the 3 pixel formats JPEG supports. Pixel format refers to the bit depth of the pixels of the image & the color space used to define the colors of those pixels.

Yes!

ICC profile

By default, this is set to the ICC profile of the project (document). However, the project's ICC profile can be overwritten for this export area. Select from the pop-up menu.
