micmac
Hi there Where does the brushes I have imported reside? Thanks Mic
Staff Leigh Posted February 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 5, 2016 They will appear in the Brushes Panel. You will need to click the drop down menu to show a list of all brushes available. Which app are you using and which Brush set did you install?

Staff Leigh Posted February 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 5, 2016 They're stored in two files called raster_brushes.propcol & vector_brushes.propcol. These files are located in: /Users/_YOUR_USERNAME_/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/ What are you wanting to do? barninga and superhaschi
R C-R
Regarding what someone might want to do with these brush files, as I mentioned here I stupidly added a set of vector brushes to Affinity Photo. As I mentioned in that thread, even after resetting brushes AP annoyingly remembers the name of the brush set. Assuming that is stored in the vector_brushes.propcol file, I was wondering if restoring it from a Time Machine backup of the same file made before I added the vector brushes would eliminate that. The current file is 282 KB; prior to adding any brushes it was 324 bytes. micmac
Leigh, I wanted to shorten one of the brush-masks. Its to long..... when I draw short lines the brus-mask doesn't kick in and the line is totally different from the other lines using that brush. But apparently it is not possible to edit the brushes. Why is that? Mic
Staff Leigh Posted February 8, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2016 It is possible to edit some properties of a brush by right clicking the Brush in the Brushes Panel and selecting Edit Brush...
