Corrupted file (Affinity Publisher 2.0)

Recommended Posts

As far as I've seen in the past, it is not always possible to recover a file after a crash. At least, not in its entirety. Maybe the best way is to recover the latest Time Machine backup, and just lose what's changed from that.

Numerous reports of file failures have one thing in common - external drive or cloud. Serif itself recommends always working on local files.

Hi @Brent Pedersen,

I've tried the tricks i know to recover the file and all have failed.  If you like, i can log the file with the Developers and see if they can recover the file, however this isn't a quick process and i wouldn't be able to give you an expected timeframe for the file being looked at by the Developers.

The crashes, have things improved with the 2.0.4 update?  We also started a beta which i'd suggest checking out, as a number of issues have been resolved.  For more information on the beta, please see here.
