Hi!

Working in relative big scenes and archives, I have several problems trying to see specific layers or groups. I tried giving colour to the layers, but the problems remain.

Maybe the indent space in the layer's panel isn't enough to keep the difference... I haven't this problem in Photoshop, for example. I don't know what exactly is, but it's still happened. I'm with Affinity for many months as my main design software and I still have this "problem".

Furthermore, I think is a UI issue.

Any suggestions?

PD: I used CTRL + LM to select a specific objects inside the groups. This is not the problem. It's more looking for a specific layer or group when you are looking to the layer's panel.
Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure I understand the issue. What do you mean you can't see the layer or group - could you please provide a screenshot of what you're seeing and describe what you'd like to see?

I agree that the Layers panel could be further improved and I'm not fond of how it indents layers in groups, but I've never had a problem seeing a layer. The only issue I have with 'seeing' a layer is finding the layer I want in a long list of layers. I tag mine with colour but the colour swatch is small compared to the equivalent Photoshop feature so it doesn't pop as much for me. I wish the colour swatch was bigger. Maybe this is the issue for you, too?

Cheers
