jupf
in Mac OS X 13.1 Ventura none of the affinity apps (V1 and V2) show the subfolders of Media/Photos library when using the place dialog
walt.farrell
Sounds like it could be a Permissions issue. Have you given the apps access to those folders on Ventura? walt.farrell
But isn't access to Photos/Media controlled by a different set of permissions? (I'm not a Mac user, so I'm just going by things I've read here, and my iPad experiences.) jupf
i have access to Photos, can open/place them. But, under Ventura there are no subfolders/albums/favorites visible, also the files are missing display of file name (see screenshots). Paul Mudditt
Pretty sure this is a change made by Apple that Serif have not caught up with, the free app Pages shows how it should be accessed via the media interface. MikeTO
This is not a change made by Serif. If you go into Pages and choose Insert > Image Gallery and then click the photo icon, you'll get the same Open dialog without access to the subfolders. So there's nothing Serif can do about it, other than also implement the Media browser as shown by Paul. jupf
thank You Mike for the clarification. I guessed that it is not Serif‘s problem, since there is the non subfolders dialog with other apps I tried yesterday. As even Apple‘s own apps like pages don‘t display the correct dialog at times, it seems to be a bug in OSX Ventura. Juergen
