PeterAG Posted December 24, 2022 Share Posted December 24, 2022 An 17Mb document that has opened in Publisher 2 is now refusing to open and is crashing Publisher 2. firstdefence Posted December 24, 2022 Share Posted December 24, 2022 Another option is to create a new document and then use Document > Add Pages From File... select the old file and selecting all the pages in the old file to effectively import in. PeterAG Posted December 24, 2022 Author Share Posted December 24, 2022 That is odd. I am running Ventura 3.1 I have tried removing the images folder and restarting the Mac. It was also v1 (Designer), but has opened OK in v2. ANYway thank you everyone very helpful. PeterAG Posted January 13, 2023 Author Share Posted January 13, 2023 So still having files crashing. Publisher v2 is close to unusable 8-( Loading pages crashes the app too. Serif seem to be ignoring this. Crash logs and info sent to them and just one reply 2 weeks ago saying they were busy. Staff Lee D Posted February 28, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 28, 2023 As before if you can provide a copy of the file causing Publisher V2 to crash along with your workflow we can test it on our systems. If it's something we can reproduce we can log it with our developers. Crash reports that are auto-submitted usually don't get replays, they are just send to a server to be sorted based on the error.
