WStar Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 So I was excited about the 40% off sale and decided to try the software. I installed the 30-day trial. However, so far I have experienced constant crashes. I created a very simple file just to try things out, and every time I interact with an Anchor I put on a text box, the software closes unexpectedly. I'm running Windows 11. Anyone else having this problem? Quote
WStar Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 So I've tried this a few more times, and here's what's happening. I right-click on the element, choose anchor Properties. The name of the anchor is there, and I click Okay. Then the program acts like it's doing something for about two seconds, and then the window goes away. Quote
WStar Posted January 3, 2023 Author Posted January 3, 2023 Any clue whether this is likely a corrupted file, or related to a known bug? Quote
RichardMH Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 First thing to try is turning off hardware acceleration if you haven't tried already. Edit->Preferences->Performance. And make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Quote

If other files crash, too, then also the crash report might shed some light on the 'crashing thread' respectively the task triggering the crash.
