chessboard
I would like to suggest the following small change to the Layer Palette UI: The hierarchy lines on the left side should not be displayed in gray but in the darker selection color. This would make the layer staggering easier to read and the whole thing more logical.
Pšenda
Just to add - for me the highlighting of parent groups is just confusing. The difference in intensity is only identifiable in a situation, where both highlighted items are displayed, otherwise it is guessing, whether the selected layer/group is displayed or just its parent. So for me, clearly highlight only the selected item. MikeTO
I agree, the layer hierarchy lines are too subtle. I think they're okay with a single group but with nested groups it's just a bunch of grey. Also, the swatch area for the colour tag is too narrow. I wish it was wider and encompassed the layer visibility icon like in Photoshop. I appreciate that they're trying to keep dark mode muted but the colour swatches are so small.
