phillman5
Just thought I'd put my $0.02 here. In document set up, the input boxes where you have to type the margins, are pretty small, help if they were bigger. There is plenty of room to make them twice the size as they are now. MikeTO
Aren't they large enough to contain the largest margin value you would ever type? From Apple: "To the extent possible, match the size of a text field to the quantity of anticipated text. The size of a text field helps people gauge the amount of information to provide." phillman5
MikeTO. I wasn't commenting on the width measured in characters. I was commenting on the size (keeping height & width proportional. Like make the boxes for 14 pt characters (or at least 12 pt) and not 4 pt. walt.farrell
This is a good example to show why screenshots are useful to illustrate discussions, @phillman5 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. phillman5
Screen shot might not give absolute size of box, only relative. And I think they already enlarged it. Screen Shot 2022-12-27 at 9.35.13 PM.pdf
walt.farrell
Thanks for the screenshot. One suggestion for the future: Just use a JPG or PNG, don;'t bother creating a PDF. That lets us see it directly. 7 hours ago, phillman5 said: And I think they already enlarged it. They haven't done anything since your initial post in this topic, unless you hadn't upgraded to 2.0.3 then and have now. Keep's low information thieves from changing things quite so readily. 2) BINGO! I guess my complaint was valid, as they made that change!
