peeja
I primarily do web design, so I work with font sizes in pixels, not points. If I try to set a text object to "64 px", it becomes "64 pt". My current workaround is to set the document to 72dpi so that 1px = 1pt, which is fine for now, since I'm working on a mockup I won't need to export. Is there a better way to deal with this, though? robskinn
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted October 8, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2014 Hi, We have an option to let you change it for line weights, but apparently not for fonts! I'll try to get this added for you. Thanks, AndyS robskinn and duch_suva
paullryan
Any progress on other systems for font-sizes? Would really help out those of us doing web-design. duch_suva
Dave Harris
This has been added to the current customer beta, as an option on the Preferences UI page. It will be included in the next App Store version when that gets updated. aubble
aubble
When is it going to be updated? Any ideas? With the pixel perfect option and this, this update will be major for me :D
Dave Harris
Hopefully in a month or two. We probably have a few more weeks work to complete it, and then Apple's review process can take another fortnight.
chirpy
Is this that hard to implement? Still no pixels for fonts. I thought this would be added in 1.4. duch_suva
A_B_C
Hi chirpy, please note that it is already implemented. Just uncheck Show text in points in the preferences and text sizes will be shown in document units … Hope that helps … :) Alex duch_suva, Brinomi, Wiredframe and 2 others

HeiligerBimBam
For anyone coming here from Google: The setting has landed in meantime, check out "Settings" > "Surface" Uncheck the box "Define Font Size in points".
