spiderpod7d
Hi Guys I just watch a video by James Ritson about Batch processing demonstrating the application of macros to Multiple images. It would be great if in the Develop module of AP2, we could create a macro of the application of Basic, Lens, Detail, Overlays and Toning presets created by the user. This macro could then be added to the list of macros available for selection in the batching process. By doing so we could then created multiple developed tiff or AP files for saving, thereby improving processing workflows for creating HDR or Pano images. Currently this can not be done so adjustments like chromatic aberrations and fringing, sometimes get burned into the HDR image and pano processed images, making the correction range limited leaving these problems visible in the resulting image. If this was possible users to apply the presets macro to multiple images in the batch process resulting in an image syncing batch process, comparable to the sync function found in competitive image editing applications such as PS, LT Room, Capture one, etc. Any chance this might be possible in a version update or Beta. I would love to try it out if the devs could attempt it. Thanks,

spiderpod7d
Hi Walt I just tried the procedure and I must be doing something wrong When I double click the developed embedded layer after starting the macro recording I get the attached window. By selecting the develop persona button at the top of the window the develop module activates. Once it is open and the macro is running I select the basic, lens and details presets and then press develop. Once in the photo window I stop the macro and save it in Library. The next issue I have yet to solve is to get the develop macro to show in the available macros window of the Batch Processing panel. It is currently showing the macro categories I have and not the actual macros in the library. Do you know how to see the just the applicable macros to select from? spiderpod7d
I agree I van generate the macro but now in Batch persona I can't select macros because they are in a category and the system doesn't allow for access to macros within each category. Thanks for the reply as at least I now have a develop macro.
