Color Profile

Recommended Posts

Hello
I am new here in the forum
A colleague recommended this forum to post my question here.

I am using macOS 10.13.6.
I have exported yes from a RAW converter the identical photo each with different color profiles and put them on the desktop. When I open the five photos in Preview I see the following.

Identical was always Color Model: RGB in Preview Information.
1 ColorSync profile: Leica SL2 Generic
2 ColorSync profile: Wide Gammut RGB
3 ColorSync profile: eciRGB v2
4 ColorSync profile: iMac_Profil_neu.icc
5 ColorSync profile: Adobe RGB (1998)

These specifications are under Preview Information.

I don't see any color differences on the monitor.

Why?

Jochen

Can you tell details about this workflow and the used application?

Do I understand right that your question is not related to Affinity but to Apple's Preview.app?
Does Preview & Affinity display the same colours for these 5 images?
Can you upload some of them with their profiles (maybe in low resolution)?

macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 only

Thanks for feedback.

I use CaptureOne as RAW converter and have files from PhaseOne.
