Aurelius
I'm afraid I've found a bug in Affinity Photo 2. A few days ago I changed the OpencolorIO configuration file in Preferences to the Colormanagement of Blender 3.3.1. I notice that doesn't work, because if I open a New adjustment layer/OCIO the source and destination color space are greyed out. I therefore wanted to copy the Color Management from an earlier version of Blender, but found that this is not possible. When I click reset, a screen opens, but I can't change it to a previous version. I did the same with: OpenColorIo search folder: and it worked (see print screen). What could be the cause? Kind thanks in advance,
myclay
I am afraid to say, you have to use the old versions from Blender 2.9x. There is no support yet for the newest version 2.X.X (from 2020 upwards). It would be cool thou when Serif updates their programs so they are compatible with the standards written down by the Visual Effects Society Technology Committee and other Software vendors. https://vfxplatform.com/ Quote Sketchbook (with Affinity Suite usage) | timurariman.com | artstation store Windows 11 Pro - 23H2 | Ryzen 5800X3D | RTX 3090 - 24GB | 128GB | Main SSD with 1TB | SSD 4TB | PCIe SSD 256GB (configured as Scratch disk) |
Aurelius
Thank you for your response. I realize I need to download the earlier version of Blender's color management, but in Affinity Photo 2 I can't change that! So, that means I have to continue working with the older version of Affinity Photo 1...
