Terrible Performance on the simplest of files

Recommended Posts

I have a 5950X, 32GB RAM and RTX 2080 using Affinity Designer 2.0.3 on PC.

This program is unusable. Im having performance issues on even a freshly opened and unedited tiny 512x512 PNG.

Drag selecting nothing over the canvas results in a 1-2 second chug of my computer on release of the mouse. I have the same issue after any actual drawing on the canvas too.

With these issues the app is painfully unusable.

I have such an issues from time to time when Windows prepares its update in the background. Microsoft Team steals, also, too much resorces. Search for Windows Startup and see if there are some programs that slow down your computer.
