Frankly
I purchased photo and designer right before V2 was launched but didn't upgrade. I am just trying to use photo for simple art designs but having lots of crashes. I am exploring the use of brushes to create patterns, but when I try to use any brush on a pattern layer, it crashes the program. I have watched may tutorials that show painting and drawing on a pattern layer but when I attempt to do the same it crashes. What's up with that. What did I pay for if it won't perform for even a simple use? Edited December 21, 2022 by Frankly

Komatös
@Frankly In the applications, go to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance and disable hardware acceleration. If this does not help, a dotNET component may be damaged.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/repair Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.1742) Affinity Suite V 2.5.5 & Beta 2.(latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Frankly
Now that's better! So far anyway. Thankfully! Grateful nothing is damaged and now maybe I can focus on art instead of tech problems! RichardMH
