Darner
Files created in Affinity Designer V2, can not be opened in V1. See attached. Updated both versions before testing 2nd time, did not work. For now not an emergency, but I'm sure this could be a useful fix in general. Staff Jon P Posted December 21, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 21, 2022 Hi @Darner, It's expected that once a document is opened and saved in V2 it's no longer compatible with V1. As part of 2.0.3, there should now be a warning when you open a V1 file in V2 that advises using Save As to create a new file to work with in V2, so if you end up needing to go back you have a V1 backup Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
Darner
Thank you for the feedback Yes, seen the warning just now after update. Still hope in the future it will be possible to open files from newer versions, in older versions.
