Question about performing an update during the update process?

Recommended Posts

If a new update is available, after executing the "Check for Updates" command, a dialog will appear in which a question about performing the update is displayed.

After a positive answer to this question (clicking the Install button) the update process continues, but the mentioned question, which is completely irrelevant and meaningless during the update process, is displayed further.

Therefore, I think it would be appropriate and reasonable to modify the dialogue text during the update.

The update process and its progress are indicated to the user both by means of a concise and much more user-friendly Progresbar,

which also informs the user about how long the installation will take, but also by a silent indicator of the download process.

I think it would be much more user-friendly if the entire update process was displayed with a single progressbar, with 0% position reserved for the download calculation,

1-49% position reserved for data download process, and 50-99% for the installation process.
Thank you
