Slow startup when APFS volume isn't available

Good morning (o;

I worked on a design stored on a APFS volume...

Now when I launch Designer 2.0.0 again it wants to access that volume again which isn't mounted...

Therefore it takes a long time and 5 nagging popup dialogs saying that there was a problem mounting that volume:

So it takes more than 2 minutes to startup...

I assume this affects other programs as well...

Hi @davorin,

Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here.

I can confirm this issue has been identified by our team and is logged with our developers to be resolved - I will be sure to 'bump' this log with your report now and we hope to have this fixed in a future update.

I hope this helps!

The issue "App attempts to reconnect to disconnected SMB share on launch" (REF: AFB-7024) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1728".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
