2.0.3 updates not showing

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

When checking for app updates via Affinity menu on a Mac it says I already have the latest update which is 2.0, so the apps seem unable to check for new updates because 2.0.3 came out on Thursday?

Is anyone else having this same issue?

Edit: Nm, it is released! I'm not getting notification either, but it's probably because I snatched the not released 2.0.3

The 'inadvertent' 2.0.3 releases referred to by @debraspicher and @Pšenda were I believe for Windows. I've just installed Designer 2.0.3 for macOS:

(Unless they released this one by mistake too...)

Affinity Photo 2.0.3,  Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.

Actually, I was just working on Designer and I got a pop up for the 2.0.3 update and I updated it. I downloaded photo and publisher's updates via the link in the forums. Should I update those or wait for the app to let me know about the update. I mean, if I install those manually am I getting a beta version, and if they release a different 2.0.3 will I be notified about it and be able to replace them with the more stable release?

Yes, I corrected my post when I saw the update. Apparently none of us are being notified? I had to check downloads page to grab the programs:

According to this information, version 2.0.3 was released 4 days ago.

There is some strange confusion about it.

2.0.3 for Photo and Publisher for macOS are now available (I bought direct from Affinity: the Apple App Store may be a bit behind.)

Edit - just noticed that the version of Publisher appears from the Software Update dialog to be "2 1688". Yet the splash screen for the installed version reads "2.0.3".

There's never a dull moment with Affinity...

Affinity Photo 2.0.3,  Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.

I am allowed to write release notes ahead of times without having the date questioned. Those were not visible till 3 hours ago when the updates started rolling live

This is the way of knowing what is the latest release. It is posted to once ALL the information in it is correct, which this evening took a while.

Thanks. I just removed a lot of my followed content to make it more useful, so re-added this to it. I saw it said Thursday as well and honestly just thought I missed it because usually I read the forum by topic listing and so am not watching the individual forums.
