TwangerMan Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Newbie curiosity…I am very interested in vector design for its scalability, of course. So I see the Pixel Persona in Designer, along with its own brushes. What then, happens to scaling, esp regarding these brush strokes, and especially if a wide size-range is desired? How does one plan or prep to allow for wide scalability? Quote

Hi Twangerman, apologies for lack of responses, forum is usually quick to provide an answer. I’m no expert but can see that brush stroke in pixel mode and a vector shape once selected can be resized to maintaining there scale. Hope that answers your question 🙂 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). If you use raster brushes you need to work in a "pixel first" approach to avoid pixelation. So if you're mixing vector and raster the correct design approach is to start your work at highest resolution for largest output size, and downsample. An example... You need a 4K picture for a video, and also covers/stills/social versions of this illustration. Start with a 4K canvas size, paint there and then export downsampled versions.
