ynneBBenny Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Hi I recently purchased Designer 2, so far it looks and feels amazing. There are a few things I cant work out how to do. Where is the image trace function? I use this quite regularly on Inkscape but cant find it in Designer. (Probably right under my nose somewhere. Also how do I auto crop the page size around a selected item? Keep up the great work, Ben Quote
v_kyr Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 ADe 2 has no autotracer build in, in order to trace and vectorize an image you have to use third party tools as workarounds. With a third party tracer save the vectorized result as PDF/SVG and open or import that one into ADe 2 then. See related ... Part of the reason ( I am guessing here ) is that there are many alternatives around so that the programmers do concentrate on the more unique or necessary features ( and bug fixing). d. H. Gabor Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 The Auto Trace will be instrumental for a lot of us. I hope it will be part of the Affinity. 😉 Quote
