manual pressure setting strange behaviour

Recommended Posts

I have a complex drawing I first made with brush lines in Designer (Mac Monterey, Designer V2), now I changed it all to straight line with manual pressure setting to get pointed/sharp line endings. But whatever I do, the endings are still not sharp. Drawing a new line, same setting make it sharp. I see no other settings that would change the lines of my drawing to get sharp. Strange.

There is a trick to making this work. After changing the Stroke Style to Solid Line Style & setting the pressure graph to whatever curve you want, click on the Properties... button & set the Size Variance to 100% in the popup Brush-Selection window.

FWIW, it has always been like this in V1 & is the same in V2.
