EPS exportation without keeping applied deformations or fx effects

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I create a collection of vector picture that I would like to post in EPS, so that the images can be used under illustrator 10.

The problem is that all my elements (texts, curves) having been deformed or with effects are not taken into consideration or badly.

I put in attachments before after of an image and the export settings made.

Do you know how to solve the problem ?

Thanks

Make a copy of the Designer file and convert to curves all the elements which are "deformed or with effects". Then export to EPS, or try exporting to PDF and changing the PDF's file extension to .ai.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I can see you have set the 'Rasterise' setting to 'Nothing' in your export settings - however the layer FX in Affinity aren't vector compatible, meaning they need to be rasterised in order to retain the effect in the exported file.

I hope this clears things up!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
