eyanpage
I imported part of another design into a drawing (green stripe) and it has this huge box with the control nodes. How do I reduce the size and why are components created in an Affinity drawing not able to be manipulated in another Affinity drawing? Madame
If you drag one of the corner handles, it will resize. I'm not sure why you can't edit anything.. Maybe you can be more specific? If you use the file>place command does this happen too? Staff MEB Posted February 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 1, 2016 Hi eyanpage, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You probably have embedded an affinity document inside another. You can scale it globally as @Madame said. Double-click it to edit its contents on a new document window. If you change to separated mode (menu Window ▸ Separated Mode) you can see both documents side by side and the original document being updated as you work in the embedded document. There's currently no way to make it editable in the document you have placed it unless you copy and paste the contents of the embedded document into the original. R C-R
When I see an oversized selection box like in the attachment, it usually means there is something in it I can't easily see, like an all white vector shape or a few pixels in a bitmap.
