I tried it more than 5 times and get the beachball every time. 2017 27” iMac 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 • Radeon Pr 580 8GB • 64GB • Ventura 13.6.4. iPad Pro (10.5-inch) • 256GB • Version 16.4

There's currently a couple of issues with books in the current beta (crash adding a chapter, and a hang updating numbers when adding certain chapters). We have now released 2.0.4 on all platforms, and using that build we believe this problem no longer occurs.
