Burry images at 144 dpi or 216 dpi

Recommended Posts

*blurry* :)

I previously posted this topic in "Questions", but I'm almost certain it's a bug:

When I setup an image with 144 dpi or 216 dpi everything gets blurry/pixelated.

As soon as I change the dpi to say 145 dpi or 217 dpi (without resampling) the image

gets sharp. This is not related to zoom. Any zoom will have the image pixelated.

"Similar" apps are not producing the same results.

I tried this on retina (macbook pro / Yosemite) and non-retina macs (iMac 21.5 2013 / El Capitan).

I attached a video from the iMac showing the issue.

4 years later and Designer (version 1.8.3) still has this bug. It affects resolutions of 144, 192, 216, 288 PPI (possibly others I haven't tried.) I took some screenshots to illustrate the problem, but I'm getting an error -200 every time I try to upload an image.

Bug is still there in 1.8.4. Let's try posting those screenshots again…

This is what it should look like:

At 144 or 192 DPI:

At 216 or 288 DPI:
